Fuze Night August 2016

Our Fuze Night August edition featured the folks that are building social movements in Singapore and beyond. Martin Tan, from SMU's Institute of Societal Leadership, talked on what it takes to lead society. Mizah Rahman and Daniel Ong talked on engaging communities to different ways to make them stronger. Lastly, Paul Foster shared his journey's into philanthropy from a personal space.

Fuze Night May 2016

We had a record turnout at our Fuze Night May event with over 120 people attending. Cramming into the cool and trendy Lepark space, the audience got to hear stories of collaborations making a difference from Wong Li-Lin, Bjorn Low (Edible Garden City), Carmen Low (Lepark), Jay Che (Circus in Motion) and Deryne Sim (Pink Dot SG). Tim de Cotta also performed original soulful pieces to entertain the crowd!

Fuze Night landed on 30 March and was a celebration of International Women's Day with three strong women sharing their experiences in the philanthropy space and how they are making the world a better place - Esther Nai from the Salesforce Foundation, Tessa Kwek from Children of Cambodia and Jane Gane from Young Women's Leadership Connection. Guest performances by Zsa Zsa Scorpion and Amanda Tee.

On July 22, Fuze Nights landed at Artistry Cafe for another social night serving Singapore’s philanthropy community, providing a welcome break from saving the world. The evening represents an opportunity to relax, connect and learn for the social impact sector. In all, over 30 professionals from social causes, non-profits and community organisations attended the event and 50 viewers joined the live stream of the event.

Over 30 social impact leaders and innovators attended the first ever Fuze Night event at Artistry on June 24. The event, loosely emulating what Web Wednesday is for digital folks, aims to bring together people from the social impact space for a relaxed evening of connecting and the opportunity to hear industry insights from a respected speaker in a particular field.

Be an Idea Vision 1.3

The third chapter of Be An Idea’s Vision kicked off last Wednesday evening on the top floor of Lime House, one of the many trendy restaurants that have emerged along Keong Saik Road over the last few years.

Part of an effort to inspire social narratives in Singapore, Vision takes place once a month, with a variety of socially inclined individuals taking the helm. This program featured a series of six speaker sessions, run in the style of Pecha Kucha.
